MARKSBURY & DISTRICT WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
We meet at Marksbury Village Hall on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm and welcome all visitors, men and women, to attend our meetings.
Please feel free to come along if you are interested, we always love to see new faces. All we ask for is a donation from non-members attending our talks to cover the cost of the speaker.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
It is with regret that the present committee members, President, Secretary and Treasurer will be stepping down from their posts after our AGM in November. This means that unless new members willing to take on these roles can be found, there will be no option but to close Marksbury and District WI with our final meeting being November 2019. Please contact Judy if you are require more information.
Our Farewell Celebration Lunch will take place on

WI Judges the first Big Marksbury
Cake-Bake Competition
Marksbury WI members Dorothy, Linda, Karen and Clare (not pictured) were invited to judge the very first Big Marksbury Cake-Bake Competition on 27th October 2018. They had the arduous task of testing 30 varied entries in just 90 minutes. Clipboards to the ready, they completed the task in hand efficiently and professionally in the allotted time (with the aid of several cups of tea!).
Categories included, Traditional, Cupcakes, Tray Bakes, Best Decorated and Unusual Ingredient, with some absolutely stunning entries made by the folk of Marksbury. Thank you ladies, please come back again!
