Facilities
Our village hall is the at the heart of the village community in Marksbury. It is the meeting place for a number of associations and groups, the venue for social events in the village and the focus of our annual Summer Fayre.
The 100 person capacity hall is also available to hire; for community groups, clubs, meetings, elections & voting, family celebrations and childrens' parties. The hall boasts a sprung wooden floor and is therefore perfect for dance groups - we are proud to be the practice place for Somerset Morris.
The Hall underwent a large programme of improvements in 2019 and comprises a tastefully decorated main hall area with large, newly refurbished modern, fully equipped kitchen with range oven, sinks, glass fronted bar fridge, two undercounter fridges and a freezer - cooking implements and crockery & cutlery for 100 people.
The 100 blue upholstered chairs provide comfortable seating and the new projector can be made available for cinema nights, sports screenings, slide shows and presentations. Further, there is a small stage and a semi-basement meeting room. The hall is decorated with light blue & teal tones.
