Marksbury parishioners receive a discount on standard prices

We have a main hall with a small stage, a modern, fully equipped kitchen with serving hatches, toilets and heating. The main hall has the benefit of a wooden, sprung dance floor. The hall is tastefully decorated with plenty of foldaway tables and 100 upholstered chairs.

There is also a good sized basement room which could be used for meetings, a playgroup or as a green room for the stage above.
There is off-street parking for approximately 10 cars. Adjacent to the hall is a good sized children's play area with ROSPA inspected play equipment.

Non-resident £15 per hour
Resident £12 per hour(20% discount)
Use of Projector & Audio-Visual Equipment - £10 flat

How do I make a booking?
You can either email us directly on marksburyvillagehall@gmail.com or complete the enquiry form found on this website, giving at least 7 days notice of your intention to book. Both communications will be picked up by our volunteers who will be able to confirm your booking and give you details of pricing and access.​
Before your event takes place, one of our volunteers will be in contact to arrange a time to meet and give you access to the hall. The booking slot must include adequate time to set up and take down.
You will be invoiced to the email address you have provided either before or after the event and asked to pay by bank transfer if possible.
By making an email booking above, it will be deemed that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions (see below)
How much does it cost to book the hall?
Hourly rates are as follows:

Non-resident - £15 per hour
Resident - £12 per hour (20% discount)
Use of Projector and Audio-Visual Equipment - Flat £10

Discounts are available for bookings over 4 hours, regular users and community groups – please apply for the rates and booking slots by emailing marksburyvillagehall@gmail.com. Discounted hire charges apply to organisations who meet at least once a month and pay in advance.

'Resident' means 'living in the Parish of Marksbury' (proof may be requested).

Rates include the use of the kitchen - we do not charge extra for this.

There is an additional cost for licensing for events where alcoholic beverages will be sold.

The minimum hire period is 2 hours.

Your booking slot must include adequate time for set up and take down. You could be charged for extended usage.

All hirers are fully responsible for leaving the Village Hall as they find it.

For social events where there will be more than 20 persons in attendance, a Damage Deposit Bond of £100 may be requested at the discretion of the Bookings Secretary. This will be returned within 7 days of the event date, in full or less any costs of damage/cleaning. ('Social events' include parties, annual dinners, private events or where we deem there is a risk of damage and additional cleaning).
